  • Incredible little place with fresh food at reasonable pricing. Friendly service. More local than touristy. Must try if in the neighborhood. Backyard seating is wonderful.

  • Amazing food and very relaxing environment! Strongly recommend the mix (assortment of pork meat), that came with fries - simply delicious!

  • The front looks unappetizing but when you go thru a little entrance on the side of the building it opens into a nice court with a outdoor BBQ. The wine was very refreshing and the food tasteful.

  • This restaurant is truly the heart of the town of Azeitao. This is where locals go to meet other locals. It is also the first place the tourists see in the center of town. Next to the central plaza with the strange, giant, grape bunch, all Roads lead to this place. It has a restaurant and a sort of café. Both are excellent. Often places like this have second rate food but this is not the case. Pick an amazing meat or fish and it will be cooked for you on the spot. But if they have one of the Portuguese specials definitely take advantage. it could be your Portuguese grandmother cooking. If you had a Portuguese grandmother. Not to be missed! And eat a torta de Azeitao if you like the extra sweet eggy stuff.

  • Our favorite restaurant in Azeitao, always pleasant and never disappointed. This time our server was impeccable, I believe he said that he only worked there for a year, but his hospitality level was outstanding. From the wine tasting, to apologizing for the food that took a little longer than usual, all in all great food, service and outside atmosphere.

  • Utterly incredible food. Knowledgeable staff. Cheap! Fed 9 for just over €100 euros. Would recommend the black pig. Simply amazing.

  • The place to go for the Azeitao cheese! We had a great wine as well! A little pricy for the cheese, but very friendly staff! Drawback are the different fridges in the 1910 interior.
